Feeling on top of the world at Yosemite National Park

ANEESA

I studied Economics and Business at the University of Connecticut. After graduating, I worked for the UConn Chemistry Department, where I designed communications, managed budgets, and planned events for more than four years.

I balanced my day job with personal creative work, like graphic design and photography. Eventually, my work was noticed by local businesses and professors, so I decided to take on new projects. This allowed me to expand my knowledge of different design programs, from Microsoft Publisher and PowerPoint to Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

My approach—both creative and professional—is to communicate a clear message to the intended audience.

For me, design is a way to inform and engage. It's a balance of function, creativity, and composition. Ultimately, it's about communicating in an aesthetically pleasing way.
